Breast Health for Women with Intellectual Disabilities

Breast Health Curriculum for Women with Intellectual Disabilities

Thanks to the generous support of The Aetna Foundation (www.aetna.com/foundation), the CRSE developed a curriculum on breast health for women with intellectual disabilities.

This curriculum enables care providers to educate women within their own family or agency on the importance of breast health.

The teaching manual with accompanying CD-ROM and laminated cards serves to instruct women with intellectual disabilities concerning a healthy lifestyle and the importance of breast self-examination, clinical breast exam and mammography.
