Train the Trainer Consent Assessment Module:

Some individuals with special needs require evaluation of their knowledge and judgment in the area of sexuality. This training module will teach selected clinicians from your facility to conduct assessments of ability to consent to sexual activity for people with developmental disabilities. 

Included in this module are the following:

  • balancing rights with professional responsibility
  • best practices and knowledge in relation to consent issues
  • framing sexual consent in organizational policy
  • assessment protocols
  • establishing standards for evaluating sexual expression
  • considerations for further evaluation, education and treatment.
