Lucille Duguay, Program Director, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker.  She is the author of curricula and training materials for individuals with developmental /  intellectual disabilities and their care providers concerning safe relationships, sexual health, and abuse prevention.

Ms. Duguay travels extensively to lecture and conduct training on the subject of a comprehensive model to support safe relationships and sexuality for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. She has presented at the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed, the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, the UCLA School of Nursing, YAI National Institute for People with Disabilities, Susan G. Komen for the Cure National Conference, the Columbus Conference, and the Developmental Disabilities Nursing Association.  

 

Jacilyn Fricks, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined Oak Hill following extensive experience as a Pediatric Social Worker in an acute rehabilitation hospital.  In her present capacity as Clinician, Ms. Fricks provides individual and group treatment, education and assessment for youth and adults referred to the CSRE.  She also provides breast health education for women with intellectual disabilities, as well as professional development on this topic for care providers.

Ms. Fricks has a particular interest in the development and delivery of services for children with special health care needs.  In Connecticut, she is the Disabled Child Advocate on the Governor's Task Force for Justice for Abused Children.  She has also served on the Department of Children and Families' Advisory Council for Medically Complex Foster Children.

                                      

Adjunct facilitators are selected for their particular expertise to meet the needs of the program participants and to assist in providing quality training modules.  They include professionals with many years of experience providing services to people with developmental disabilities.
